State Senator Bodi White is running for Mayor-President this year.  A native of Central, LA, White talks about the status of the area since the flooding of Louisiana.  He also explains what he would do for the education system if elected as Mayor.

Political consultants Wilfong and Sherman talk about the elections of 2016, the Senate race in Louisiana and discuss whether the Presidential race is already won in the last few months.

Mike Strain

Commissioner of Agriculture Dr. Mike Strain joins Jim in studio to talk about how the historic flooding has affected crops and livestock in the state. He discusses the recovery process for farmers in the state. Strain plans to visit Cuba again on October 3rd - 7th with Governor John Bel Edwards. 

Mike Wolf

Attorney and Libertarian Mike Wolf chats with Jim about the upcoming presidential election. Wolf says Gary Johnson is the strongest candidate the Libertarian party has ever seen. 

Hour 2: 

Lamar White

Political consultant and blogger Lamar White chats with Jim about the presidential election. White is a supporter of democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. 

Humberto Fontova

Political commentator Humberto Fontova discusses the presidential election and how candidate Donald Trump is getting his vote even though he doesn't like him.

HOUR ONE

Dan Claitor

State Senator Dan Claitor talks about the status of Louisiana government since the flood and the fiscal budget as compared to Katrina.  Claitor hopes that the people of Louisiana will learn from previous tragedies.

Michael Marsh

Former WBRZ anchorman joins the show to talk about the recent Baton Rouge flood. Marsh is now employed at Connections Academy, a tuition-free, fully accredited online public school for students in grades K–12. The academy could be an option available to many students in Louisiana.

HOUR TWO

Chris Tyson

Baton Rouge native, Chris Tyson, talks about the community and what it needs to do in order to recover from the recent flooding.  Tyson touches on the Presidential campaign as well.

Abhay Patel

Abhay Patel is running for Louisiana's U.S. Senate.  He joins the show to talk about his campaign and the flood in Baton Rouge.

08/23 Tuesday: Raymond Jetson, Sean Illing, Jay Chevalier, Peter Finney Jr.

Rev. Jetson joins Jim in studio to discuss his latest article in the New York Times, "How the Flood Can Help Us Heal." Jetson says the Great Flood of 2016 did not discriminate by race, location, or socioeconomic status. 

Hour 2: 

Sean Illing

Writer for Vox, Dr. Sean Illing, joins the conversation to discuss President Obama's visit to Louisiana after the Great Flood of 2016. Illing says the government plays a big role in the recovery process during times like these. 

Jay Chevalier

Member of the Louisiana Music and Political Hall of Fame and former body guard for Gov. Earl K. Long, Jay Chevalier, talks about what's been going on in Louisiana over the last few months with the shootings and historic flooding. Chevalier also discusses the upcoming presidential election. 

Peter Finney Jr. 

Executive Editor and General Manager of the Clarion Herald Peter Finney Jr. chats with Jim about the great life of his father, the sports writer, Peter Finney Sr., who passed away on August 13,2016 at the age of 88.

Former commissioner of elections Suzy Terrell talks about the Baton Rouge flooding and politics.  Terrell talks about the media's coverage of flooding and its effect on the presidential race.
