Gene Mills is President of the Louisiana Family Forum and joined the show to discuss Trump and his victory over Hillary for president. Gene Mills is also an ordained minister and motivational speaker.

Manuel Martinez

Martinez is a notable stylist in Baton Rouge and the owner of Martinez Custom Clothier. Martinez started his career back in 1984 and has achieved great success since then. In 2003 Martinez Custom Clothier was named one of the top custom clothiers in the US. He is responsible for making the suits of Nick Saban and other notable clients.

Executive Director of the American Civil Liberties Union in Louisiana, Marjorie Esman joins the show in light of the open letter written in the New York Times to President-elect Donald Trump.  Esman talks about the rights of all Americans and how the ACLU will fight to make sure that happens throughout the next presidency.

Clarke Perkins

Perkins joins the show to talk about the hate crimes she experienced at her apartment on LSU's campus and how race affected the presidential election.  Perkins received a letter from her former boss Hillary Clinton about her misfortune.

Raymond Strother

Veteran political consultant Ray Strother joins the show to elaborate on what has occurred in the country since the election of Donald Trump as the next President of the United States.

David Smith

Dr. David A. Smith is a senior lecturer in American history at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.  He joins the show to discuss the book, The Price of Valor on Veteran's Day.  The book describes the bravery of a young, 19-year-old Audie Murphy in World War II who became a movie star.

Julia Turshen

Writer and the author of Small Victories.  Turshen explains her cookbooks name as something to feel proud about, with a healthier selection of ingredients. She joins the show to share some of her favorite recipes.

HOUR TWO

Scott Wilfong & Dayne Sherman

Dayne Sherman and Scott Wilfong had opposing opinions on the outcome of the presidential election.  Wilfong is a strong supporter of Trump and Sherman predicted Clinton had the election in the bag.  They acknowledge the outcome of the election and look forward on what is to come.

The Advocate's Capitols news bureau editor, Mark Ballard stopped by the show to talk to Jim about the presidential election and the victory of Donald Trump.

Ben Bagert

The former senator and Democrat turned Republican joined Jim to discuss the 2016 presidential election and Donald Trump. Bagert is an attorney based in New Orleans and has been voted "Top Lawyer" in New Orleans many times in a number of fields.

Tyler Bridges

Tyler Bridges is a writer for the Baton Rouge Advocate and joined Jim to discuss the 2016 presidential race outcome and the Senate race in Louisiana. Bridges is a former reporter for the Miami Herald and the Times-Picayune.
