Former television anchor George Sells visits the studio to talk about the governor's election. Sells says Republican candidate Scott Angelle made great points in the Raycom gubernatorial debate at the Governor's mansion last night. He discusses how the other candidates performed in the forum.

Tyler Bridges

Pulitzer Prize winner and journalist Tyler Bridges comments on the gubernatorial election and how he thinks the race will turn out. Bridges discusses Republican candidate David Vitter's prostitution scandal. He says Louisiana residents shouldn't be able to complain about leadership in the state if they don't vote. 

Bridges says Governor Bobby Jindal most likely wants Republican candidate Angelle to win the race. He says Jindal has played the role of the punching bag in the election cycle.

HOUR ONE: 

Laura Cassidy

Dr. Laura Cassidy is the co-founder of the Louisiana Key Academy, a public charter school focusing on children with dyslexia in East Baton Rouge and the surrounding parishes. She serves as President of the board.  Dr. Cassidy says that one in five people are affected by dyslexia.  

Clancy DuBos

Clancy DuBos is the owner of The Gambit.  He discusses the Gubernatorial election, the debate tonight, and the latest revelations about Senator Vitter.  DuBos also shares the Vitter update: inconsistencies come to life

Felicia Harry 

Felicia Harry is a board member of the 2014 LSU Legends Forum.  She discusses the annual party for the A. P. Turreau Louisiana Chapter of the NAACP for Homecoming week.

Jeremy Alford

Jeremy Alford is the publisher and editor of LaPolitics.com.  Alford discusses the Gubernatorial election and the latest revelations on David Vitter.

Marty Mule'

Marty Mule' is a veteran sports writer and has served a featured columnist for Tiger Rag since 2006.  He comments on the Saints' win this past weekend.  Mule' also discusses the LSU game against Florida tomorrow.  Mule' declares that Leonard Fournette has already surpassed football legend Billy Cannon in yards run.  

Quin Hillyer

Quin Hillyer is a newspaper columnist and writer for The Advocate.  Hillyer gives his opinion on the Gubernatorial endorsements by The Gambit and The Times Picayune.  He also predicts that John Bel Edwards and David Vitter will make the runoff.

Scott Wilfong is a conservative Louisiana political consultant.  He discusses the Gubernatorial election with Dayne Sherman.

Deborah Sternberg

President of B'nai Israel Synagogue Deborah Sternberg joins the conversation to talk about Jewish life in Louisiana.  Sternberg invites everyone to attend B'nai Israel's Art and Soul event. 

Sternberg says the Jewish community in Louisiana is very close knit and explains the differences in Jewish culture here and in New York City. She talks about the conflict in the Middle East. 

Fairleigh Cook Jackson

Jim is joined by Fairleigh Cook Jackson to talk about her new position as the executive director of the Foundation for Historical Louisiana. Jackson discusses what goes on in a typical day as executive director. Jackson gives light on some new projects going on in Baton Rouge and across the state. 

Charles Fountain

Author Charles Fountain joins the conversation to discuss his latest book on the 1919 World Series.

Fernanda Zamudio-Suarez

Editor of the Daily Reveille Fernanda Zamudio-Suarez discusses how students on LSU's campus are going to vote. She says not many students are making a big deal about the upcoming gubernatorial election like they did last year in the senate race with Mary Landrieu and Bill Cassidy. 

10/14 Wednesday: Roger Stone on the Clintons' War on Women, Secretary of State Candidate Chris Tyson, and Tomorrow's Gubernatorial Debate

HOUR ONE: 

Roger Stone

Roger Stone is an alternative historian who was one the legendary American Republican political consultant who has played a key role in the election of Republican presidents from Richard Nixon to Ronald Reagan to George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush.  He discusses his latest book The Clintons' War on Women. Stone also comments on the Democrat Debate last night. 

Chris Tyson 

Chris Tyson is a candidate for Secretary of State.  He shares his campaign message with Jim as the elections are quickly approaching.  Tyson wants to increase voter registration and is open to new online and electronic methods of voting. 

Tucker Barry 

Tucker Barry is the Director of Communications for Louisiana Progress and the Managing Director of Equality Louisiana.  Barry is upset about the parameters of the Gubernatorial debate tomorrow night, which restricts media presence.  Louisiana Progress is asking for signatures for a petition and to tweet @LATech about the lack of spectator and media presence at the debate tomorrow.

Volunteer Director for Volunteers in Public Schools Donovan Jackson chats with Jim about the organization. VIPS is a program to help improve public schools and anyone over 18 can volunteer.

The first and only Republican woman elected to statewide office in Louisiana Suzy Terrell joins the conversation. Terrell says discusses the upcoming election and early voting.

Gus Weill

Political Consultant Gus Weill joins the show discuss about the presidential election. Weill talks about the energy Bernie Sanders is bringing to the democratic side of the election. 

Weill discusses how Playboy will no longer show completely nude photos.
