Recurring guest Mark Ballard joined the show to discuss the 2016 Senate race and the prospects of the candidates.

Author Dava Sobel briefly discusses her book The Glass Universe: How The Ladies of the Harvard Observatory Took the Measure of the Stars.  Sobel is a former science reporter for the New York Times and the recipient of the National Science Board's award for Individual Public Service.

Dr. Williams is a civic leader, entrepreneur and teacher. She received her law degree from Howard  University and was the first African American to run a congressional campaign in the state of Louisiana. She is joined by former Baton Rouge Metro Councilman, Darrell Glasper. The two discussed Trump's victory and his visit to Baton Rouge.
