Hour One

Fairleigh Cook Jackson 

Fairleigh Cook Jackson is the executive director of the Foundation of Historical Louisiana. The organization looks to promote historical preservation across the state of Louisiana. They will be having their 18th annual gala this Thursday on November 3. Jackson is a native of New Orleans and an LSU graduate.

Corey Fields

Fields joined the show to discuss his book, 'Black Elephants in the Room: The Unexpected Politics of African American Republicans.' He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Stanford and a faculty affiliate at the Center of Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity at Stanford.

Peter Finney jr.

Peter Finney jr. stopped by to discuss the 50th anniversary of the founding of the New Orleans Saints on November 1, 1966. He is the son of Peter Finney sr., a famed sportswriter that passed away this past summer.

Mary Reilly

 

Reilly is an event organizer and dating expert who goes by the name the DateMeister. She is co-authoring a book titled, 'Date Defensively: How to Know When To Get Off At The Next Exit.' She graduated from William Smith College with a degree in English. She joined the show to discuss dating and older women having relationships with younger men.
