Hillar Moore

The District Attorney joins the show to give an update on the incident that occurred Saturday, resulting in the death of EBR Sgt. Shawn Anderson.

Rev. Gene Mills

President of the Louisiana Family Forum joins the show to talk about the effects a lack of a nuclear family has on crimes.  Mills feels that the reasoning behind many crimes is the lack or hate for fathers, and he addresses what can help these situations. Mills also talks about the programs he and the Gov. have been working on to help prison reform.

Jeff Marx

Jeffrey Marx is an author and organ donor advocate.  Marx joins the show to talk about Jarrius "Little JJ" Robertson's need for a liver transplant.  Marx and Little JJ will be at Walk Ons on Burbank at 6pm to give out Little JJ Robertson's 'cards for a cause.' This event is free.

HOUR TWO

Suzie Terrell

The first and only Republican woman elected to statewide office in Louisiana. Terrell joins the show to talk about Donald Trump and his tax returns.  She feels that it has never been required, though some previously have released similar documents.

John Wirt

John Wirt joins the show to talk about Chuck Berry.  One of the founding fathers of rock 'n roll, Berry passed away at 90 years old on March 18th. Wirt talks about Berry's run with the law and listens to Berry's "Roll Over Beethoven."

Marc Eliot is a New York Times bestselling author and has written a plethora of books. His books are mainly centered around pop culture icons including, Walt Disney, Carey Grant, Jack Nicholson and the list goes on. On today's show he talked about his newly released book, Charles Heston: Hollywoods Last Icon.

Melinda Deslatte

Melinda Deslatte joined the Associated Press in 1999 and 2000 transferred from Raleigh, NC to Baton Rouge. Deslatte discussed the annual  Statewide Capitol Correspondents Gridiron Show where Louisiana politicians are spoofed in performances. The Gridiron Show in BR is the longest running in the country. 

Caitriona Lally

Caitriona Lally is an Irish author and discussed her debut book Eggshells on the show. Lally studied English Literature at Trinity College. Before writing her first book book she worked in the past as a copywriter and as a teacher in Japan. She currently lives in Dublin, Ireland.

Trey Ourso

Political analyst Trey Ourso stopped by in studio to discuss Donald Trump's first 8 weeks as president. He graduated from Louisiana State University and is a Partner at Ourso Beychok, Inc.

Felicia Leggio Braud is the Baton Rouge Regional Director of Louisiana Parents for Vaccine Rights (LAPVR). Braud joined the show to discuss her opposition towards vaccinations and how they could be harmful to children.

Jason Turbow is a best-selling author and sports journalist; he discussed with Jim his latest book titled, Dynastic, Bombastic, Fantastic. The book focuses on the baseball team the Oakland Athletics and owner Charlie Finley. He discusses the players and the success of the team in the early 70s.

Mary Jennings "MJ" Hegar

Mary Jennings Hegar is an Air Force Veteran and a Purple Hear recipient. She earned the Distinguished Flying Cross during her time in the Air Force and is only the 6th women in history to receive one. She talked with Jim about her memoir. Shoot Like A Girl, available now. 

Ian Birnie

Ian Birnie is the Programming Director of the Louisiana International Film Festival (LIFF) and was the former film curator for LAMCA. Birnie held the position of LACMA's Film Department Director for 14 years. He discussed on the show some of the themes and movies of this year's festival.

Roger Villere is the chairman of the Louisiana Republican Party and has been since 2004. He has been elected for six straight terms and is running for a seventh term. Villere is originally from New Orleans and now resides in Metairie, Jefferson Parish.
