Cynthia Peterson

Cynthia Peterson joins Jim in studio and is the first female Dean of the LSU College of Science. Peterson is a native of Shreveport. She was the previous Dean of the College of Science at The University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Peterson gives details on the upcoming event called, Hidden Figures Revealed on March 17th. A panel of women in science will take questions after a viewing of the film, Hidden Figures, at 5:00 p.m at the LSU Union Theater.

News Director with the Louisiana Radio Network Jeff Palermo chats with Jim in studio about the resignation of U.S. Attorney Walt Green of Louisiana's middle district and the reaction of many in the community. He also comments on rumors of the resignation of LSP Col. Mike Edmonson. 

Renee Chatelain

Lod Cook

Lod Cook is a successful businessman and a graduate of Louisiana State University, class of 1950. He is originally from Grande Cane, La and now resides in Sherman Oaks, Ca. He was chairman CEO of Atlantic Richfield Company in 1986 and kept his position until 1995. It was considered the best led US company during his reign. 

Dianne Reeves

Dianne Reeves is a Grammy award-winning jazz vocalist from Detroit, Michigan. She was first noticed by trumpeter Clark Terry in Chicago while in high school; she toured with Harry Belafonte in the early 80s. She will be performing wit the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra on March 11 at the Baton Rouge River Center.

Darrell Glasper and Dr. E Faye Williams

Darell Glasper and Dr. E Faye Williams return to debate on Trump and his presidency. Glasper is a former Metro Councilman and Dr. Williams was the first African-American to run a congressional campaign in Louisiana.

We're joined by Mark Kram, Jr. to remember the The Fight of the Century on this day 46 years ago. The Fight of the Century is the boxing match between heavyweight champion Joe Frazier and and heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali. Frazier won in 15 rounds via unanimous decision. It was the first time that two undefeated boxers fought each other for the heavyweight title.
