Jim Henderson is the current UL system president; he became president at UL after leaving his presidential posit at Northwestern State University. Henderson mainly discussed education and how to better Louisiana as a state.

Clarence Fountain

Clarence Fountain is a member of the 5 time Grammy Award-winning gospel group, The Blind Boys of Alabama. He discussed with Jim his the group and his upcoming documentary. The documentary is titled, The Book of Clarence.

Dan Borne

Dan Borne joined the show to discuss his life and career. You might recognize his voice from announcing LSU football games as the voice of Death Valley. Borne received his Master's from Louisiana State University in the Manship School.

Tom Aswell

Tom Aswell of Louisiana Voice joins the show to discuss Donald Trump and his decisions when dealing with Korea and Russia. Aswell also comments on the recent news about the Louisiana troopers under investigation for Las Vegas excursion.

Former LSU Gymnast Susan Jackson joins Jim in studio to talk about the NCAA National Championships. #2 ranked LSU is currently in St. Louis for the competition. The Tigers were runner-ups last year as the Oklahoma Sooners took home the title of champions.

Ryan Francis was a Baton Rouge native visiting home for Mother's Day from USC, where he played basketball, when he was shot and killed on May 13, 2006.

Edmond Jordan and Executive Director of the Celtic Media Centre Patrick Mulhearn chat with Jim about the film industry in Louisiana and the struggles the film tax credits face during the legislative session. Mulhearn emphasizes how many jobs the film industry creates in the Bayou State. A report finds the film tax incentive causes a significant hit to the state's budget. Mulhearn is leaving his position at Celtic in June after 8 years.
