Cliff Vannoy

The President of LSU Alumni Association joins the show in the first hour to talk about the contributions of LSU alumnae and how those contributions make LSU the most beautiful campus in higher education.

John McCann

Former head coach of McNeese State, McCann, gave LSU's interim coach, Ed Orgeron his first job on his coaching staff in the 80s. McCann discusses Orgeron's character and foretells his success as head coach of the tigers.

HOUR TWO

Ali Akbar & Lamar White

Blogger and Democrat Lamar White, and political consultant and Republican, Ali Akbar discuss the presidential debates earlier in the week as well as the Congressional race.

Joe Conason 

Joe Conason is an American author who joined the show to discuss his new book 'Man of the World: The Further Endeavors of Bill Clinton' and his experiences with the former President. He is the former executive editor of the New York Observer and founder & editor-in-chief of The National Memo. 

Dr. Laura Cassidy 

 

Dr. Laura Cassidy joined Jim to discuss dyslexia and the Louisiana Key Academy, a charter school that she co-founded. The LA Key Academy specializes in teaching students with dyslexia. She served as Chief of Surgery at Earl K. Long Medical Center from 1990-1992. She worked in private practice specializing in breast cancer treatment until her retirement in 2006.

Humberto Fontova

 

Humberto Fontova is a Cuban-born political commentator backing Donald Trump in the upcoming election. He fled Cuba in 1961 and lived in the New Orleans area. He attended the University of New Orleans where he received a B.A. in Political Science and a Master's Degree in Latin American Studies from Tulane. 

Dayne Sherman 

Sherman is an American journalist and joined Jim on the air to lend his support for Hillary Clinton as the next President of the United States. Sherman is also an author and has been publishing short fiction since 2001. 

09/28 Wednesday: Lester Duhe, Shelter at Home Program with Julie Baxter Payer

Lester Duhe, a former football player at Louisiana State University joins Jim on the show to talk about the interim head coach, Ed Orgeron and a little bit about the presidential candidates.

Julie Baxter Payer

Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications, Legal and Special Projects, Payer joins the show to talk with callers and Jim about the Louisiana Shelter at Home Program.  Deadline to register for the program is October 15.

Trey Ourso

Trey Ourso is a political consultant joining the show to talk about the presidential debates Monday night.  Ourso discusses Hillary and Donald's campaigns, determining who he feels "won" the debate.

East Baton Rouge Parish School Superintendent Warren Drake, Livingston Parish Superintendent Rick Wentzel, and Ascension Parish Superintendent David Alexander join guest host Michael Marsh to discuss the flood recovery for schools in their parishes. The superintendents also discuss the platooning of students at different schools and how it's affecting families.

Roy Fletcher and Ron Faucheux

Political consultant Roy Fletcher and pollster Ron Faucheux chat with Michael about the first presidential debate and how Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton performed.

Sports Director for WAFB 9 News Steve Schneider joins Andre Moreau to talk about Les Miles since he is no longer head coach at LSU.

Mike Rhodes

Mike Rhodes joins the discussion with Andre Moreau to talk about the firing of Les Miles and what to expect from LSU Football from now on.

HOUR TWO

Skip Bertman

Skip Bertman is a former coach and former LSU Athletic Director.  Bertman hired Les Miles back in 2005 and joins the show to talk to Leo the day after Miles has been fired.

Mo Isom

Mo Isom was an All-American goalkeeper for the Louisiana State University soccer team and the first female to try out for an SEC men's football team. While her life has been marked by incredible athletic successes, it has also been riddled with horrific personal adversity. Isom joins the show to talk about her book and how she overcame the adversity. 

Ethan Brown

In March of 2014, Ethan signed a deal with Scribner to write a book about the Jeff Davis 8 case; the book is Murder in the Bayou. Ethan’s book is the result of years of witness interviews and public records requests, many of which were made under Louisiana’s Public Records Act about allegations against Senate candidate Charles Boustany.

HOUR TWO

Tyler Bridges

Tyler Bridges is a freelance journalist based in New Orleans and Lima, Peru, who was twice a member of Pulitzer Prize-winning teams.  Bridges gives his opinions on whether the allegations by Ethan Brown in his book, "Murder on The Bayou" about Charles Boustany's team are true.

Mike Chittom & Joe Delpit

Mike Chittom is a Republican and Joe Delpit is a Democrat.  Delpit and Chittom dispute over who they feel is more capable of becoming the next President of the United States.
