Charles Boustany

Congressman Boustany talks about the financial and emotional stress caused by the flooding and gives some information on what people can expect to happen in the next few days.  

Chris Andrews

Rev. of Jubilee Pioneers, Andrews joins the show to talk about the more emotional side during the Baton Rouge flooding.  Andrews notes that there are smaller, religious shelters located around the city and reminds the public that any small act of kindness makes a difference.

LSU's President Alexander joins the show to talk about the status of the university since the flooding.  He explains that they are still looking to have move in day on Wednesday and continue with the semester.  Alexander also talks about how the flood has affected faculty and staff and he mentions TOPS.

Warren Drake

East Baton Rouge Superintendent of Schools Warren Drake assesses the damage done by flooding to schools in the community.  Drake estimates how many students  and faculty were displaced by the flood and what he and his team are doing to accommodate those students.

HOUR TWO

Patrick Mulhearn

Director of Studio Operations, Patrick Mulhearn tells the story of how the 150000 square feet of design-built stage space became home to many Baton Rouge inhabitants.

The commissioner of Administration discusses FEMA and its involvement in the Baton Rouge flood.  Dardenne estimates how long it will take Baton Rouge to get back to normal and estimates who and how many were affected by the disaster.

Insurance Commissioner Jim Donelon joins Jim and Leo to discuss steps flood victims should take who do not have flood insurance. He gives details on how to apply for assistance with FEMA. 

Jay Grymes

WAFB Meteorologist Jay Grymes chats about the flooding in south Louisiana. He gives an updated forecast for what we can expect for the remainder of the week and when the flooding rivers are expecting to crest.   

Eric Lane

President of Gerry Lane Enterprises, Eric Lane, visits Jim and Leo in studio to discuss what to do if your car has been flooded and the steps to take in getting another vehicle. He says many law enforcement vehicles were also swept away in the flood waters. 

Jim Hawthorne

Former Voice of the Tigers Jim Hawthorne tells the story of how he and his wife were rescued from their flooded home in East Baton Rouge.

Jay Dardenne

Commissioner of Administration Jay Dardenne comes in studio to give an update on how the state is doing with the historic flooding. He tells flood victims which shelter to go to and which shelters have reached capacity.

Jr. Shelton

Central Mayor Jr. Shelton joins Jim to discuss the historic flooding in parts of southern Louisiana is closing roads and flooding homes.  Shelton reports no fatalities in his area yet but warns residents to be cautious when out on the road and to obey all signs. 

Tattoo Talk

Tattoo enthusiast and reporter with Louisiana Radio Network Halen Doughty joins Jim to talk tattoos. Doughty is 23-years-old and has 33 tattoos. She says she got her first tattoo at age 17. 

Olympic Update

Former LSU gymnast Susan Jackson is in studio to give an update on what is going on at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.

Donald Trump's Louisiana Campaign Chairman Eric Skrmetta chats with Jim to discuss Trump's jokes and personality. Skrmetta discusses Trump's personality and how he is misunderstood by many. 

Flash Flood Update

State Climatologist Barry Keim gives an update on the flash floods plaguing the majority of southern Louisiana.
