HOUR ONE: 

Dr. G. Pearson Cross

Dr. G Pearson Cross is the Interim Associate Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Associate Professor of Political Science at Southern University.  Dr. Cross will comment on Governor Jindal's announcement to run for president.  He is writing a book about Governor Jindal.  

Dean Ornish, MD

Dr. Dean Ornish is a nutritionist, author, and healthy lifestyle expert.  He shares his expertise and insight on diabetes and obesity.  Baton Rouge is the fattest city in the fattest state in America.  

HOUR TWO: 

John Bel Edwards

Representative John Bel Edwards is a candidate for the Gubernatorial election.  He joins Jim today to comment on his campaign and Bobby Jindal's announcement for his candidacy for president.  

Tuesday: Judge Freddie Pitcher, Jr. Retires, Tom Brady's Suspension, Healthcare, and Louisiana Politics

HOUR ONE: 

Freddie Pitcher, Jr. 

Judge Freddie Pitcher, Jr. is the Southern University Law Chancellor.  He has just announced his retirement.  He remembers his career and how his experiences have shaped his life.  Pitcher was the first African American Judge elected in Baton Rouge.  Pitcher will remain continue to teach at Southern University and rejoin his old law firm as a senior partner.  

Stan Veuger

Stan Veuger is an economist and resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute.  Veuger discusses his recent article in the New York Times Deflating 'Deflategate' regarding Tom Brady's scandal.

Josh Archambault

Josh Archambault is Pioneer’s Senior Fellow on Health Care Policy.  He comments on the Supreme Court's upcoming decision on the case regarding Obamacare.

HOUR TWO:

Stephen Waguespack

Stephen Waguespack is the president of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry.  He discusses higher education, the end of the legislative session, and budget reform.  

Doug Ireland

Doug Ireland is the Foundation Executive Director and Chairman of the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame.

HOUR ONE: 

Bud Johnson

Bud Johnson is the Director of the Andonie Sports Museum.  He remembers the legacy of Pete Maravich on his 68th birthday.  Johnson shares memories of Maravich and his first impressions of the slight basketball player.  Pete Maravich made 3,667 points in his career. 

Bobby Simpson

Bobby Simpson is the former Mayor of Baton Rouge.  Simpson comments on current Mayor Kip Holden.   He also shares about his own life and perspective after holding the office of mayor.  He now works as an administrator at the Louisiana School for the Visually Impaired.  Simpson says he has no desire to ever run for political office again. 

HOUR TWO: 

George Sells

George Sells is the former WAFB Anchorman.  He comments on Brian Williams and the recent shootings in Charleston, South Carolina.  Sells affirms that Williams will never recover from his "misrememberings."

Jesse Ventura

Jesse Ventura is former Governor of Minnesota.  He gives his opinion on the presidential candidates who have just recently entered into the fray, Donald Trump and Bobby Jindal.  He discusses the dynamics of the 2016 election.  Ventura comments on his lawsuit against Chris Kyle, the former Navy SEAL, whom he sued for defamatory passages in "American Sniper."
