Hour 1:

We start the day with East Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar more who talks about the crime problem in Louisiana and what should be done about it.

Moore says we are not only able to track murders, we can track when somebody takes a shot via GPS coordinates.

There are 14 Assistant DAs for every murder in New York City. There are less than 1 for every murder in Baton Rouge.

The average on executions in Louisiana because of appeals is 20-25 years.

Hour 2:

Kevin Kane, president of the Pelican Institute for Public Policy, shares his thoughts about the high cost of incarceration in Louisiana.

We have more prisoners per capita than any entity in the Western hemisphere.

Then it's Susan Mustafa who wrote three true crime novels about serial killers with links to Louisiana including Derrick Todd Lee.

TUESDAY: Lynne Marino, Bradley Beychok, Collette Dwyer

Hour 1:

Our first guest today is Lynne Marino, the mother of Pam Kinamore who was slain by serial killer Derrick Todd Lee on July 12, 2002.

Lee is connected to at least seven killings and is on Death Row. Marino is battling cancer and hopes to live too see the death of her daughter's killer.

Then we hear from Bradley Beychok, President of the watchdog group Media Matters. We revisit the Steve Scalise issue and David Duke's interview with Bill O'Reilly.

Hour 1 - Leon Evans, CEO with The Center for Health Care services discusses the need to reevaluate the current state of mental health in the prison system. Renita Young, a multimedia journalists with NOLA.com looks at the top Business Stories of 2014.

Hour 2- Stephanie Grace talks about the latest in Louisiana Political news, and Jim looks back at "Pistol" Pete Maravich

FRIDAY: Andy Anderson, Amy Anderson, C.B. Forgotston, Stephen Moret, Donna Douglas

Hour 1:

We are joined by Andy Anderson and Amy Anderson from BF Anderson talking finance and what the stock market could do in 2015.

C.B. Forgotston calls in to chat about the 2015 year in Louisiana politics.

Hour 2:

Louisiana Economic Development Secretary Stephen Moret on the booming industry in Louisiana and the bleak budget picture.

Then we revisit a show from May 2013 in which Donna Douglas joined Jim ahead of a book signing. Douglas died New Years Day 2015 at the age of 81.

Jim also talks about his baseball book "Ball Four" which is a combination of his diary during the 1969 season and memoir of his years with the Yankees, Pilots and Astros.

Hour 2:

Manuel Martinez, world renowned Custom Clothier based right here in Louisiana talks politicians and fashion.

Pulitzer prize winner Tyler Bridges on the party of Edwin Edwards. Is the party over?
