Retired US Army General Wesley Clark is in Louisiana pushing the federal free cell phone program despite complaints from Senator David Vitter saying it's a waste of tax payer dollars. Vitter has been a vocal critic of the Lifeline program and has legislation to do away with it.

Southern University spokesman Ed Pratt then calls in to chat about the importance of voting.

In Hour 2 we chat Louisiana politics with commentator Jim Brown and Baton Rouge councilman John Delgado.
