12/21 Thursday: Jim Engster announces the end of statewide radio show

Hour 1

Jim says goodbye to his afternoon audience Thursday, as after more than three years, the two-hour show will broadcast for the final time on December 29th.

He thanks his listeners, and affiliate radio stations during the announcement following an interview with Dr. Tracey Wilen, a prominent speaker on the impact of technology on society, work, and careers.

Democrat Justin Dewitt comes in studio with Jim to discuss his campaign for U.S. Representative. Dewitt plans to run against Republican incumbent Garret Graves next year. Dewitt is openly gay and plans to address disaster aid if elected.

Rev. David Diamond joins Jim in studio as his guest for the second hour. Diamond discusses Doug Jones' win over Roy Moore for the Alabama U.S. Senate.
